Born in Singapore
"Growing up, I've never felt comfortable in my own skin. I still don't. But when I first came out to a friend, it was the most natural thing to me. Queer was a label that, for the first time, fit me. Everything, and I mean everything, started making sense to me. I'm not weird. I could name myself. And there are many others like me. At 27, I'm still figuring things out but I'm never unsure about being queer."
